Monday Monday Monday!!

So it was a pretty normal night... I whipped up a nice chicken caesar salad for dinner to satiate the salad craving I had earlier today... it was tasty. I want more, but I dunno if the lettuce will still be good tomorrow. SIGH... I guess once is better than nothing though.

I spent a good bit of time in front of the TV, drawing stuff in my sketchpad... I've been sketching out prototype character designs for some new project of mine. I'm not sure if it'll be a web comic or an online manga series. I like the idea of drawing little punchline-oriented vignettes and such... but I also like the idea of having a cohesive storyline, and also having the opportunity to draw characters that are at least a little farther removed from stick people than your average web comic. I dunno. I probably won't even do it because my scanner's being a greasy bitch lately. ::shrug::

I kicked some arse at Starcraft just now... I won the game, but I get the feeling that Dan and Cory were spamming each other a lot with their respective units before I went over there and started laying smack down. Eh, still, at least I didn't die horribly or anything. ^_-

I gotta ask the boss for a raise tomorrow... scary! I've never actually worked anywhere long enough to merit a raise, since most of my jobs were temporary, summer jobs. But I've been working at Journalism for a year, and I have heard nary a complaint from anyone about my performance, so I figure I deserve something after all this time. Let's hope I'm right. ^^;

Anyhoo, I should shut up, pack it in, and go to sleep. GOOD NIGHT! x_x

Dirty dirty

I could wash my hands a million times during class and still leave the art room looking like a damned chimney sweep. I have charcoal smudges ahoy on me right now. Bleh!

I guess it's time to count down until lunch. Wheee-haw. 2 hours.

I'm finally back to the coolness that is putting my new new new website design in place... there have been a lot of extraneous projects to distract me from it lately, but now I'm finally back to it. I will finish it and it will be loverly, and everyone will enjoy its cool mod-ness.

I took a quick trip to the bathroom... and upon closer inspection, there is, in fact, a giant charcoal stain on my BUTT. How does that even GET there??! I'm so annoyed. I'm going to go bankrupt on Stain Stick if this keeps up. :p

35 minutes until lunch. The gods are hungry, and so am I.

Dozing

I fell asleep in front of the computer a minute ago. Whoops.

Lunch was berry nice! It kind of woke me up too, for a bit. I dunno how long it'll last, though... but I figure I can slog through at least one more hour of work, ne?

The J-school website is so gigantor... it's frightening. Fortunately, the vast majority of it doesn't require regular maintenance. Some parts though, like the course info pages, are positively tedious to keep track of. There's got to be a better way of doing things.

Nobody's online right now. ;_; Most people are N/A or Away. I need entertainment. I SUMMON YOU, SUSAN!! :O (was it you or me who had the summoning powers? ^_-)

...because I'm still awake. LOL! At least there are some folks online now, so I can chat a bit. I think I'm actually *more* efficient on a tired day when I'm chatting intermittently. It gives me an extra reason to stay alert and pay attention to the computer.

I think I get to bail out 10 minutes before the hour today, since I actually got here from class at 9:50, not 10:00. Hee hee, shaving those minutes off! Some people are driven to such things when they're this tired. ;p
