It's alive... ALIVE!!!!!
Mar. 5th, 2001 12:00 pm... to quote the TV showing Frankenstein in the middle of Weird Science. That was one of the many movies I watched during my weekend of deadness. Felicia brought over Absolute Power on Saturday, which was nice to see again. I totally forgot one rather shocking part of the ending, so it was fun to be hit by the "holy CRAP!!" reaction again. :D
I am endeavouring to go to Art History lecture and work today, and I may or may not do Jazz dance, depending on how I feel when the appointed time rolls around. I can always sit out and observe, but I think that also involves writing some b.s. paper about what I observed, which doesn't excite me. It's friggin *dance*, for chrissake. I don't know about other people, but I'm there to do the moves, not write about them.

Went to the bank, came home, and then left for campus. Paying rent is kind of important, after all. ^_- I have more money than I expected to have at this juncture, but I think one check may not have cleared yet... so we'll wait a few days and see.
I'm still feeling pretty congested and all that, but I'm not so tired, at least. The day is still young, of course, but I think I may yet survive this day. All I have to do is hang here at the office, check in with the lab GTF at 3, and head over to dance at 5. I still haven't decided whether I'm going to participate or observe. I wish I could find my syllabus. :p

Oh yeah, I got my free mascara in the mail over the weekend. :D It looks like good stuff... and who doesn't like the price tag? I heart reflect.com.
Speaking of purchases, I'm thinking about buying some new sheets and a big blankie for my bed. I'm currently borrowing an extra sheet set from James which is too big for my bed, and using my two existing single-size blankies to cover the surface of the bed. It's time to get something nicer that fits.

Mar. 5th, 2001 04:49 pmJust ordered some cool, super-cheap mousepads: one for work, and one for at home. The one I have here at work is a plain blue one that was probably mired in acres of dust prior to my using it, and the top fabric layer is starting to peel off the Wallace and Gromit mouse pad I have at home. ;_; So, I figure it's high time to invest in a couple new ones. One's Evangelion, the other is Card Captor Sakura. I probably should have looked harder and found a J-rock mousepad or something, but today is not the day for grandiose efforts on my part. I'm still drained from the illness.
Off to dance, probably to participate. Then home! Yaaayyy. :D

I finally talked to Cory today about going splitties on a decent TV stand for the apartment (we've been using some crappy end table since we moved in here) and he was coo' with that, so I went and found one that was cheap but cool. Now I am going to put it together while James works on dinner.
