Heroes and Shari's

Our Heroes game went on forEVER! x_x We were playing until almost midnight, which makes that probably 7 or 8 straight hours of playing without a break. My character was really cool in combat, and she handled things very handily... she also managed to gather some info from different people, although admittedly not as much as her more well-connected compatriots. Still, all went pretty darn well. :)

After we got done, James took me out to Shari's, since neither of us had eaten anything since probably 1 or 2 in the afternoon, aside from some potato chips that Zach shared with the group. I had a nice tasty dinner and dessert (although I *still* couldn't finish dessert for some reason!) and then we came home and I finished off the Starcraft mission I was on. Fun, fun night. Now it is sleepytime. G'night!

Final Thought

Why the hell does exporting a 20-min episode now take 3 hours, when it previously took 45 minutes?? This is the sound of me being annoyed.

Lazy Sunday

I had a nice, relaxing day, but I still worked pretty hard even so. I spent 1 1/2 hours at the gym today working out, and it was *so* nice... there were hardly any people there, so I got my pick of the machines and weights and stuff. I had a pretty tough workout, and I'm kind of tired now, but it's definitely a good thing! Before that, I hung around the house and watched figure skating on TV, and after that I made dinner arrangements, and hung out with James, Dan, and Aleisha.

I also watched the Dune miniseries, or at least the first installment of it... I love having Sci-Fi Channel! :D It's pretty good so far, IMHO, but I guess I'm not the best judge, seeing as I've only watched the original movie with Kyle MacLachlan, et. al. in it. I've started reading the book a few times, but then life gets too busy and I end up not being able to finish it. Something to put on my To Do list I guess. ^_^
