I spent the past hour or so doing something I haven't done in a long time, because I'm always so darn busy: I read a book, and for purely entertainment-related purposes. :O It was a really nice thing to do, especially after being so busy and utterly occupied these past months. The last time I really got into a book that I didn't have to read for school was on my failed trip to ACen.

Anyhoo, my body's tired, so I'm going to bed, even though my mind isn't.

Me hungry!

I'm very hungry right now! But I don't know of anything that I really want to eat, which is kinda bad... oh well, I will figure something out. ^_^ Our kitchen light appeared to be broken this morning, although I think this time it's the light switch, and not the bulb. ::groans:: I hope we figure it out soon because I really hate cooking in a kitchen that isn't well-lit.

I am going to meet with an art prof today and hopefully get some tips for assembling my multimedia portfolio. I am thinking of some pretty cool things that I could do with it, but implementing them would probably require a lot of extra work... so we'll see.

Oh yeah, gripe of the day: why is it that *everyone* has to be in the direct path of my bike whenever I am riding it somewhere? I'm a little too short for my bike, so it's a pain to have to get off the bike and walk it. So when everyone's in my way, I inevitably have to slow down so far that I can't stay balanced on the bike, so I have to get off and walk it. Grrrr.

Went to my meeting with the art prof... it sounds like the whole portfolio thing won't be too complicated... I mainly just have to print stuff out from like 10 of my projects, to show how things are laid out and whatnot. :D :D :D I'm kinda hoping to make a cool-ass CD-ROM with all my chosen sites on it, and some neat Flash menu or something, but I dunno... I will definitely give it a shot though! :D

So if I get two more 20oz bottles of some Pepsi product, then I can get So I Married an Axe Murderer on VHS. Or, if I wait until I get another 20 bottles, I can get something on DVD. Oh, the choices...

I wrote a giant-size e-mail to the dean, and now I'm ready to call it a day! Heading out of the office now.

Home again

What a nice evening this will be. I think I may play around in Flash for a while... I'm not sure yet. It looks like Cory and James are going to be commandeering dinner, so I am in the clear on that too. W00t! :D

Side thought: WinAmp's "randomizer" isn't very random. I keep hearing the same 20 or 30 songs over and over. And I have over 1300 selections on the playlist. -_-;

Food and Moms

James and I went to the store to get stuff, and then I spent half an hour on the phone with Mom... she went to hang with Dad's fam for Thanksgiving, so it's good that she got to go do something too. ^_^ James just rang the dinner bell. Woohoo! :D
