Hot Stuff Baby O_o
Oct. 11th, 2000 04:10 pmOkay, so I'm sitting there at my computer, making a pretty little Excel spreadsheet for conversion to PDF, and all of a sudden there's this loud hissing, and clouds start rising from behind my monitor. GAH! At first I thought it was smoke, but it turned out to be steam, which is probably almost equally bad because steam can't be good for the 8 or so machines in here that are running our servers. x_x
So all the computers are okay and everything, but that was some scary stuff nonetheless. Seeing puffy white stuff billowing up from behind your computer tends to startle you just a bit. ;p I can't do much work from this machine (I'm on the one across the room until they clean up all the condensation) so I might just bail out early. And the new boss had just walked in to do some work like 20 minutes prior to the whole steam incident. Talk about a crappy first day! :p
