batskeetsWell, here I am at the studio, waiting for the QWest guy to show up. The window of opportunity? 8:30am-5:00pm. Apparently, they couldn't narrow it down any further than that. And here I thought *I* was bad at time management. :p
Believe it or not, this was the good option for our business internets. Comcast couldn't even be bothered to call us about scheduling the install, after we initially made arrangements with them. We nagged at them multiple times, after waiting for a good week or so and hearing nothing from them, but that didn't help, either. Clearly, they don't need our business!
Things have been pretty relaxed-and-groovy since I got back, which is a Very Good Thing, because I feel like ass today. I think I've been running a slight fever, off-and-on, since Monday, and although I've done almost nothing outside of sitting in a car, or sitting in front of the TV, I haven't quite shaken it off yet. SIGH.
Fresh Meat orientation and practice is tonight, so I can only hope that I feel okay enough to fully embrace it, by then. I've been looking forward to this since before I left for L.A., so I fully intend to be on skates and getting the crap beat out of me (figuratively) by 7pm tonight! Guh, too stubborn for my own good, I am.
But yes, the beatings will now commence, and the beatings will continue until morale improves. Booyah.
