WELL. The weekend is not quite shaping up the way I expected, but I think I'm ultimately relieved by that.

There was originally a plan to hit up Vancouver, BC, but a business opportunity came up that we just couldn't bring ourselves to pass on. SO, we're staying in town to prepare for and do this event, and doing Vancouver at a later date. This has already turned out to be a good thing, because I'd have missed some Very Important Things in other areas of life that I didn't hear about until this morning. (hooray for last-minute notice)

The weekend is probably still going to be one big team Work Party, but I'm kind of okay with that. Having rad people to work with makes work infinitely more bearable. And, I'm likely visiting with Alyson tonight to dork out and also talk about her awesome Halloween Wedding. And, I might even be able to get a bit of work done around the house, since I'm caught up on weddings and waiting to hear back from clients. AND! I get to go to Derby instead of missing it.

So, yeah, I'm rolling with the changes. It's good enough for REO Speedwagon, so why not me?
