Coincidence

There have been more than my usual number of strange coincidences, as of late. Nothing big, mind you, but enough that I've taken notice.

I've always had a certain attachment to the concept of synchronicity. Granted, this just lends me another convenient excuse to assign meaning to things that don't actually merit that much significance, but I think I'm allowed the occasional flight of fancy. Lord knows if I'll ever make heads or tails out of my existence on this rock, otherwise.

As far as meaning goes, we're making it all up all the time, anyway. Synchronicity is as fine a tool for deciding where and how to tell the story as anything.
