Kinda loving life

FRIDAY NIGHT: I'll be heading straight from wushu to go see the New Pornographers at the Crystal! EXCITEMENT. I would still *love* some company, so let me know if you're going, or would like to. (daemonwise?) If you're a Neko Case fan, she's a member of this band, and if you want to test it out, I'd be happy to throw an album or two of theirs at you. :)

I have much, much work to do today, because I'm taking some PTO later in the week. So, not much time for chatter.

Here's a shot from Sunday, though: camera in one hand, reflector in the other. Yeah, that setup was bit unwieldy at times, with the wind and all, but I'm a little bit wacky like that. ;) And when I showed her the preview on the camera's LCD and got to hear her go, "*gasp!* I LOVE it!" made it worth a bit of unwieldy-and-wacky.



I'm looking forward to playing with a few shots I got of her among the grass and trees soon; the colors in that setting made her eyecolor pop like craaaaazy.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling the excitement. And I get to do a fashion session with Carolyn this coming Sunday, which I'm definitely jazzed for. The last significant bit of fashion I did was the Spring/Summer 2010 campaign with Alyson, so I'm way overdue. Oh emm effing GEE.

Going to the show would be really cool! Unfortunately, I am broke as all hell at the moment. Otherwise, I'd be all over it (I'll definitely take you up on the offer of albums). Thanks for thinking of me, though; it's very much apprciated.
