PARTY INFO AT LAST

batskeetsFor those who do not roll on Facebook, here's the party update I just sent out. (you may have already read some of this in my previous post):
WHEN: Saturday, APRIL 24th. Starting at 8:00pm, but feel free to show up later!
WHERE: Currently, it will be at my house. (bug me for the address if you need it)
THEME: "An Era Begins." Because, hey, I've made it through thirty years of existence on this ridiculous planet, and that does represent something of a benchmark!
ATTIRE: Choose something representing a specific period or era. Could be as late as the '80s, could be the Roaring '20s, or even an era that is much, much older. (or, if you have a TARDIS, maybe even the future...?) You could also represent a subculture within a particular time period, or a specific Person of Note in that period.
Basically, you can dress silly, or dress fancy, be ambitious, or not. My thought is that the party will look kind of like Bill & Ted's phonebooth full of historical figures. Except multiplied several times over. And also not crammed into a tiny phonebooth. ;)
WHAT TO BRING: The only thing I require you to bring is YOU. Even if you don't dress up or anything, I just want to see you!
--If you *want* to, food is always appreciated. (hey, this *is* me we're talking about)
--This will also be a BYOB situation, so if you want to be drinking, bring something to sip and share.
OTHER NOTES?
If any of you wants to help plan, decorate, make playlists, whatever, I would love your assistance! (**I know I have several offers already... let's put our heads together!)
Also, I'll be sure to get some sodas/mixers beforehand, so if you have anything in that vein you'd like to request, let me know.
