batskeetsA late start, a bit of traffic, and a wrong turn had me rolling in to my parent's house at close to 1:00am last night. Ooof! I was surprisingly awake for most of the drive, though--the worst of the tiredness actually hit me in the morning.
The last few days were nice, in that largely-unscheduled sort of way. I stayed up late, slept in, got things done, and didn't have anywhere to be at any particular time. Ahhhh. I also found a terrifying holiday sweater for the ugly sweater karaoke party--apparently the last one! There were some regular holiday shirts left in the store, but they weren't anywhere near as hideous as the one I got.
The karaoke party was good, happy hour the night before was fun and much-needed, and time away from the daily grind is always, always appreciated. These last few days have been up-and-down, but they could certainly have been worse.
I may not get on the intertubes tomorrow, so if I don't, Happy Holidays and hugs!
