Peanut sauce! <3
May. 21st, 2009 09:45 amI think I have just seen THE most disgusting eyelashes in world history. This chick on the bus must have put on 20 coats of mascara, because it looked like she'd glued tarantula legs to her eyelids. I tried to snap a photo with my cell phone, but it just didn't capture the incredible grossness of seeing it in person. Euuuugh.
Anyhoo, I wound up helping Boy with a night shoot at Mt. Tabor last night. It wound up taking a lot longer than I expected, because we forgot that they don't allow car access on Wednesdays. :p So, we had to hike up to the top, and then I had to hike all the way back down and up again an extra time, because Boy forgot to grab the tripod. BOO-URNS.
We didn't get back until almost midnight, and I got a mosquito bite on my friggin' FACE in the process. But, we were messing with long exposure, and got some cool ghostly effects with a pale-skinned model in a Victorian-type gown. They look pretty effin' rad, so I'll share once I get some processed! :)
I also made a healthier version of peanut sauce for dinner last night, and it actually tasted decent. This is an awesome development, because I loooove Thai peanut sauce beyond all expression. Here's the recipe, if you want to try. :D
I'm a sleepy monkey today. No more late-night shoots on work nights! Ooof.
