Eeuugh, I don't know when I started reacting so badly to mosquito bites, but I got a few bites while I was shooting the zombie portrait on Saturday, and now I have big red blotches where the bites were. WTF?

I'm working on more shots from the zombie portrait, but here's the first photo from the plus model shoot on Monday. She wears glasses with thicker rims and no anti-glare coating, so I completely didn't notice that each eye was a different color, until I put her against that brown brick wall. Yeah, I felt a little silly about that one. XD



In other news, we watched the first episode of True Blood last night, and just... baaaahahaha. So ridiculous! I am fairly intrigued by the whole, "vampires as a cultural minority" concept, though. I don't know if we'll watch more of it, but if we do, I hope they do more with that.

So glad I don't have anywhere to be tonight! (although I'm up for something fun...)

Darn and foo. I have my Star Wars game tonight, otherwise I'd be totally up for something. :}

I've heard Tru Blood is fun. I've never seen it, though, so I will not vouch for the veracity of the reviews. ;P


*sighs* One of the reasons I didn't sign up for the speed shoot (and, to be painfully honest, probably the primary reason) was because I'm feeling so overwhelmingly fat lately. I know there are gorgeous woman of every shape and size, but I'd be afraid I'd burst into tears looking at the photos. :{

The books go verrry slightly more into the vampires as minority thing than the show does, but not nearly as much as I'd like. I really think that's one of the most interesting parts of the whole series!

While I like the series, I think the books are way better, and have much more funny parts to them. :)

Aw, I completely understand. I can't tell you how many cool shoot ideas I've put off in the past, because I felt too flabby and gross to pose for them. So much of feeling fat or unattractive is mental, but it's hard to get out of that state of mind once you're in it. ::hugs::

I hope we can book something relatively soon, though. I think we could pull together something super-hot, and lord knows you deserve to feel super-hot! :)

Shall we kick it on Friday, perhaps? :D

Yeah, she gives good face! I think that was our first shot of the session, too.

Well, I'm not really drinking right now, because I'm trying to get down to 165 before I go get my ass beat by the Beijing Wushu Team, but let me know where you end up going, anyway. I might be able to get by with a couple of Diet Cokes. ;)

I had thought I would do sort-of a pinup/cheesecake shoot. I have this cute polkadot black and white dress (that I might have put my black satin corset over) then wore my black satin girdle garter belt with cuban heeled stockings and an awesome pair of cork-soled 4 1/2" peep toes. It's a cute outfit, and I've got *ahem* a fabulous response when I wore it on a date a bit ago. ;}

Maybe someday soonish. I won't have a lot of free cash until after my trip in June, but $25 could have been doable. I just... suck.

Friday I have a b-day party later at night, but what's your schedule? I do really want to hang out soooooon.

Bleh, it looks like I'll be working until 6 today (grrr project deadlines), so happy hour isn't looking so doable. :/ It'd probably be more like 7:30 or 8:00 after I make dinner and tomorrow's lunch.
