May 24th Speed Shoot signups! I'm opening it up to the photography business' MySpace friends tomorrow, so get in on it while you still can. :)

So, HEY. What are people doing this Friday? I have precisely nothing to do, and Boy will be out of town. Not that staying in would be such a bad thing, but I also have a bit of the karaoke bug.

I made a pretty amazing "taco soup" with the crockpot for yesterday's dinner, and OMNOMNOM it's delicious! Tonight, I'm going to make a crustless quiche, with broccoli and reduced-fat irish cheddar from Trader Joe's. That is some freakin' amazing cheese, by the way. Seriously, I wouldn't have known it was reduced fat if it didn't say so on the label. AND it's currently on special at TJ's! I thought some inquiring foodie minds might want to know. ;)

Wushu seems to have shaken out nicely. They don't really want me to learn two new forms at the same time, because, well, nobody at the school does that. So, I'm doing Nandao and have also been doing basics with competition class, and I'm okay with that. During basics, they do some unusual combos that my body is completely unaccustomed to, and they also tend to move through them faster. :) My old basics have improved like crazy, so having new combos and more speed is the kind of challenge I was hoping for.

In other news, I am PUMPED for Zombie Prom. I've kept this amazingly blingy dress around since I wore it to some high school dance (I think it was my junior prom?), and lord knows why I kept it for that long, but I fully intend to wear it to Zombie Prom. I may even look better in it than I did in high school... I was the same size, but I wasn't exactly super-fit back then. It's strange to realize that I'm *excited* about wearing a size 10/12 dress, considering I was the same size in high school and felt like a complete chub-monster then.

Anyhoo, I have much to be doing, so I'm off.

For serious, we just moved back to SE and are a short walk from Chopsticks 2. I'd be down with a song or two and some good times in the now SMOKE FREE bar =)

I'm pretty sure I've got this hideously tacky dress from highschool still around somewhere. It was fabulous! I highly doubt I could squeeze my ass back into it, though. No Zombie Prom for me... is that this weekend?

I'm still debating on the speed shoot thing. :{ I wonder what you'd be willing to do? Are you still planning on outdoor shoots? In a park, or somewhere else? I guess I should re-read the info you've sent out. ;P

... can you fly yet? I've practiced quite a few arts in my day, and the best I can manager is a heroic leap. Wu shu magic flight, that's always been beyond my reckoning.

I'm willing to do *any* type of shot, from fabulously sexy to wholesome enough for Mom. Seriously! You'll have privacy while we shoot, and if you want makeup and hair, I can contact one of my associates, so you can show up early and get gussied up.

And yes, I definitely plan to do outdoor shots. :)

It's... okay. On the weekend it's packed with hipsters, but if you go early enough and get decent seats you can get in on a nice rotation.

Heh, still working on the whole flying thing. Sometimes, even a heroic leap is a stretch for me, LOL! I'm getting better, though. :)
