Eating Well: I did mostly-good today. Everything went quite swimmingly until the BBQ dinner, and those damned hot dogs. Even though I *wanted* to eat more of them, I didn't, but yecch, processed stuff like that is getting less and less satisfying, calorie for calorie.

Keeping Active: Belt test at wushu.

Emotional Health: Journaled, and also decided to be a smart monkey and go to bed at midnight, rather than staying up late with the BBQ crowd.

Other: Picked up my new DVD! Also grabbed a couple small things I needed at the store, and got all my new CSA box goodies sorted and put away.

I tried the 30-Day Shred DVD this morning, and I'm happy with it thus far. I did Level 1 today, and it was definitely challenging and sweat-inducing! I especially noticed it in my upper body, and that's with wimpy girl-pushups instead of full pushups.

I have no idea how a person in worse shape than me would do with this, but the moves are simple and easy to grasp (srsly, everyone knows how to do a jumping jack!), so if you get tripped up on choreography during aerobics class, you'll feel much more comfy with this. I'll see what kind of results I get after a week or two of this. :)

I did the DVD this morning during what's usually my solo time, though, and I still got interrupted! XD Andy apparently had to get up super-early to take his car into the shop. That was a one-time thing, though, so hopefully it won't happen again.

WOOT! I'm glad to hear you like it. I love the Jillian videos I have and they always surprise me by how difficult they are.

Eek, I need to get back to updating on my 30 day thing. I've been slacking!

Yeah, most of the videos I have seem way too easy compared to wushu, so I was surprised that this one was so tough. Here's hoping for good results!

Hmm, maybe I'll get that on Amazon to get myself more into working out. I've been slacking. I don't want to lose weight necessarily (wouldn't complain about it though ;D) but I REALLY want to be toned for my wedding pics. I know that's in October, but I figure if I can start and then keep it up for 30 days, maybe I can keep doing it. :)
