batskeetsThanks to us busting our humps at The Job this week, I have the all-clear to take Mon-Wed off next week! I'm not even going anywhere special, but woooo, finally, some vacation time! Hell naw!
Weekend's going to be busy, but in a good way. We have a wedding reception on Saturday evening, and then I'm hitting up Eugene on Sunday to see off![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
divadrummer and morriscat, before they move far, far away. :( It'll be a short trip, but it's nice to actually get down there for something besides a wedding client.
The only not-so-great thing is that the Pirate Festival is this weekend, but I suspect we won't have time to go to it. BOOOOO. Oh well, pirates are cool, but Friends definitely beat pirates. And so do Clients. And Wushu practice. Hurhurhur.
In other news, I heard from the designer who worked with me on the laundromat shoot this morning. She's in this year's local Fashion Week (which is awesome for her!) and she's working on a new collection for it. There are apparently several photographers who want to shoot the new collection, but she wanted to give ME first dibs before giving it to any of them, because our shoot is still her favorite!
She's worked with a couple of very good photographers since we shot together, so I'm flattered that she brought it to me first. What a compliment! The concept is going to be great, too; I haven't even seen the clothes yet, and I'm already getting amazing ideas.
Anyhoo, I have many a task to knock out before I leave the office today, so I'm out.
