IT'S OVER!!!!111

OMG THANK GOD IT'S OVER. We worked on it every day of this long weekend, but the old house is empty and cleaned up! Not sparkling clean, or anything--I don't expect to get much, if any, of the deposit back, given how incredibly cheap Landlord is about everything--but good enough for government work. ;) And halfempty rocks for coming over and putting his back into moving a couple of the bigger things that I surely would've broken myself on, even with help.

We also scored some cool stuff for cheap/free! eaglecrash led us to free chairs and a decent-looking charcoal BBQ, Serafin snagged a nice entertainment center for cheap, and Andy came back from housesitting just long enough to drop off some furniture that his parents had. The house is going to look awesome once we get everything situated.

Now begins the "fun" of sorting through piles of crap from the old house, and getting rid of things we don't want. I'm hoping to get it done this week, so we can throw down a yard sale this coming weekend. Well, assuming the weather doesn't go to crap by then, anyway. :)

I'm so relieved that August is over. So many double- and triple-wedding weekends, and all the moving related foo, on top of my usual workload? Yipes. Things should get a lot easier for the rest of the year, so w00t. :D

every time I move I am amazed by how much crap I have. This last time I was determined to move with only my little car. I had it packed and ended up having to ask my parents to hold some of my things for me. :( Getting a barbecue is always good, now you should have over friends and grill meat!

Yeah, no worries. I suspect it'd have been one of those things that's, "nice to have," but actually gets used almost never. ;)
