Yes, I am full of punny goodness today. Also note the icon. ("boned!" get it? baaaa ha ha!)

Got the Official Verdict on my foot this morning:
--They X-Rayed it and there is no visible fracture, so that's good.
--I may have chipped a bone very slightly, but it's nothing to worry about. Good!
--The primary issue is that the ligament on the outer part of my foot is stressed. The remedy is basically ice, rest, and keep it elevated. Also good!
--The "rest" includes a strict order of No Jumps for at least a week. Yeah, not so good.
--There is a *very* slight possibility of a stress fracture inside the bone, but I shouldn't worry about that unless there is more pain/swelling later in the week.

Overall, not too bad. They basically said that this could have easily progressed to a stress fracture if I hadn't come in, but I escaped without having a cast bolted onto my foot or anything, so that's good. I suppose I'll just have to do extra punching drills or something while they're doing jumps at wushu. :)

In other news, I'm doing a wee bit of freelancing again, perhaps against my better judgment! I have one project (with no real deadline) building a website for one of our Favorite Stylists Ever, and then one due later this month for Katie's feature film.

I just got feedback about my initial mockup for the site on the latter, and I'm already excited about where it's going. It's a definite departure from my usual squeaky-clean design style, but I still fully intend to bring the usability and ease of navigation that I always strive for. It'll be great to finally update my portfolio with something that's both fresh *and* not part of an online educational tool.

Oh yeah, and thanks to some wheeling and dealing, we now have some Giclee prints hanging up at Pioneer Place. :) They're displayed at a modeling school, so they include a lot of my fashion photos, which is cool, because I don't often get to see those printed. Ben picked them out, so there are a few of my best fashion shots conspicuously missing, but I hope to remedy that before too long.

Ben apparently talked to the printer, who went down to see the display, and he agreed with us that they look great, but are kind of small for the large windows they're hanging in. Then he offered to re-print them for us at Big McLarge Huge size for free, if he could put his watermark in the lower right. Awesome!

Anyhoo, lots to do, so I'm off like a dirty shirt.
