Wow, got some good news today: my homeboy/fellow designer here at work put in for some new equipment for my office, when he ordered stuff for the new media room. Looks like they'll be bumping me up from a Mac Mini to a Mac Pro, and a dual monitor setup. Nice!
I had a relaxing and productive weekend, which is tough to pull off, because productivity doesn't usually leave a lot of room for relaxation, but fortunately, there was time for both. :) I got a bunch of photos done, got the new homepage mostly-mocked-up, and worked on our photoblog.
As for the fun stuff, there were two BBQs on the 4th, lots of tasty meat, and fireworks going off in all directions! On Saturday, we got to do brunch, play Rock Band, and throw in a few games of lawn bowling with Amy and Travis, and we also saw a comedy show at Harvey's, because
halfempty had the mad hookups and got us all in for free. Fair warning: don't ever go to Harvey's hungry or thirsty. I drank two Diet Cokes, and they cost me SEVEN DOLLARS. Biggest rip-off EVER. But that aside, the headlining comedian was actually pretty good, so it could've been worse. :)
Moving right along, here's the first outfit from a fashion shoot I did last month. The shots turned out a bit more alt-fashion than regular-fashion, but the guy on hair and makeup was completely amazing, and the lighting was *exactly* what I was going for. Success!

The nice part of these is that they actually required almost no processing. The part that took the longest was, believe it or not, adding eyebrows onto the model! Yes, this model apparently keeps her eyebrows shaved off at all times, so the designer asked that I add some in post. Oy vey.
I definitely have to give her credit, though, because she also had an obviously broken nail on one hand, and she posed her way around it amazingly. I didn't have to fix it in a single shot!
That's all for now. ::poof!::

Later, when I rule the Earth, I will remember your loyalty.
. . .
Nice job with the eyebrows.
