HAY DOODZ. So you know that documentary-style athletic spot I was filmed for? It is now up on YouTube:

No, it's not an official commercial (well, I suppose it might be, if it wins the contest he made it for), but it's cool nonetheless! Even though I sound like a dweeb on video. ;p

In retrospect, I probably should have planned it out better, so I wouldn't have been doing wushu for the camera after running around the nature preserve while weighted down with lighting gear, and doing 2 wushu classes earlier in the day, but! I now have a happy video about me doing the two things I spend most of my waking hours on! (well, The Job notwithstanding)

Saturday was a hellabusy but moneymaking day. We did portraits and then we did the Starlight Run, and man, it turned into a rather blecchy evening for a run! Our gear didn't get terribly wet, so it could've been worse, but the gloomy conditions made the late-evening more difficult to shoot than last year's.

Went to a BBQ on Sunday, which was basically a meet-and-greet for a runway show I'm booked for later this month. It was still gloomy and crappy outside, but everyone was nice, and there were tasty hamburgers. :) And then, it was homeward bound, so [livejournal.com profile] misshepeshu and [livejournal.com profile] benefitz could come and take over our kitchen, and make amaaaaaazing beef curry and veggies and brownies. OMG OM NOM NOM. I can't even remember the last time I've felt so pleasantly stuffed!

Oh yeah, and we also watched Ong Bak, because there is no such thing as too much Tony Jaa. <3 I swear, all I need to do is watch a Tony Jaa movie every week or so, and I'll be so pumped to train that I'll become 10 times more awesome. I suppose he'd have to star in more than two movies, first, but still, AW YEA.

Speaking of being pumped to train, being back at acro yesterday was great. I did have to base for some really spastic new people (seriously, I am not uber enough to control things when my partner is flailing around that much!), but I felt strong and didn't land on my head once. Booyah!

And in conclusion: I really don't get the Sex And The City thing, you guys. Does it really merit having its own feature-length movie? (funny how I ask that question as if the answer is relevant to whether or not a movie is made!)
