batskeetsIt kind of amazes me how much ridiculous stuff gets reported on TV and radio. Apparently, important news and political discussion includes things like whether or not Hillary is an attractive woman with "feminine instinct." I heard that very thing being intensely discussed on a supposedly-political radio show this morning.
Or, perhaps, Huckabee airing a Christmas ad that may or may not have a cross in it, or the fact that Hillary is using a helicopter to travel around Iowa, or how corporate candidates take their coffee.
Or maybe we need to hear about candidate hairdos! Because we really need to know that Romney's hair never moves. And we obviously need to hear about John Edwards' expensive haircut. AGAIN. Every other time they mention his NAME.
Oh, and you know what? I've really been wondering how good ol' ALF has been doing since the 80's. Clearly we need to seek out everyone's favorite Alien Life Form for an interview!
Maybe I'm expecting too much from a nation where celebrity antics get more airtime on the "news" networks than world events, and where the federal government is more concerned with Major League Baseball than reading the bills they're voting on, but COME ON. This is just stupid.
