This just in: I. HATE. NANDU SHEETS!!!!!!11
If I haven't mentioned it before, Nandu is basically the word for all the jumping/difficulty techniques in a given form. It's somewhat like the scoring in figure skating is/was: if you do more difficulties, or choose harder difficulties, then you can get a higher overall score.
Now that I'm Advanced, I have to fill out nandu sheets that tell what difficulties I plan to do, and these blasted nandu codes make no bloody sense. And that, of course, is on top of the fact that I can't even do half this crap.
Sweet jesus, this is depressing. XD
Yeah, if you couldn't tell, tournament registration closes tonight. I'm almost thinking about dropping nanquan and just doing broadsword, because then I wouldn't have to fill out this stupid nandu sheet! I haven't entirely decided, but I'll figure it out after practice tonight.
In other news, we're going to see Jim Gaffigan perform tonight. I haven't actually watched his comedy, but Andy is a big fan, so we're kind of taking his word for it. It should be good, though!
Oh, and I'm convinced that they put crack in the Crazy Bread at Little Caesar's. I want those things more than their pizza.
Anyhoo, there are more mock-ups to be tossed together, so I'm off like a dirty shirt.
