I find it rather funny that, in a place that has a dress code and is housed in a fancy-schmancy, 20-story, downtown office building, the honor box in the break room consistently runs short. This last time, they were short TEN DOLLARS.

Granted, some of those items are totally not worth 75 cents, but that's still a lot of items to go unpaid for. Apparently, just because we dress nice doesn't mean we're above stealing things. XD

MetroFi Free internet access seems to be pretty crappy. I tried it on my lunch break, and it was slower than cold molasses.

In a totally hilarious-to-me coincidence, the School of Journalism hired what is now the third person I know personally to take on the student webmaster position: first it was Me, then craftyran, and now Louie. Louie complained about things that irked me back when *I* had that job, which reminds me why I like him, and also reminds me of the aspects of that job that were irritating as hell.

Ah well. T'was long ago and not-so-far away. :)

Haha, I was just discussing Louie (kinda, in that "I don't know this person but you just hired him so yay you!" sort of way) with Andre over lunch on Monday. :D I didn't know you knew him, that is crazy nuts!

And yeah, I got the impression that the things that bugged me when I was there are still going on (although at least one person who I really couldn't stand is no longer there, yay!)
