To ACTION! :O
Jul. 26th, 2007 10:39 amIt has definitely been one of those weeks where I'd like to just lay down and sleep for a few days. :p I managed to get 8 hours last night, but after getting 5 1/2 the night before, I am definitely not caught up yet. This weekend isn't looking like a good time to play catch-up on the sleep thing, either.
Anyhoo, we had some good times shooting in-studio yesterday. Ben did some really dramatic superhero/supervillain type stuff, and then I jumped in and did a different take on the superhero idea... (pardon the less-than-stellar JPG compression, the Aperture-to-SmugMug plugin is not perfect on that, apparently)
Time for Action...

Ready to Go!

Wait a tick...

I can't believe I forgot my costume!

Yeah, kinda corny, but it was fun. :)
I was also inspired by the t-shirt in these next few, and was hoping to get something kind of punk rock, because it was a real departure from what's already in the guy's portfolio. The whole "in-your-face" thing didn't come very naturally to him, so they turned out more emo than punk, but the shots themselves still look good. :)

Lessons learned? Don't shoot when you're short on sleep, because then you'll do stupid stuff like forgetting that you left your camera on ISO 800 the night before, and then wondering why your test shots look so blown out. :p
Anyhoo, uh, I can't think of anything else, because I'm tired... so I'm off!
