I know a guy who has a part time business as a professional DJ. He used to charge abou $600 for a gig, when he raised his rates to $800 he got twice as many clients. Some of his colleagues are charging $2000 per gig, he can't quite bring himself to do that, even though if he did he might be able to quit his day job.
I guess with some things people take you more seriously if you charge a buttload of money.
!!!!!!!!!!!! Strange you've posted this because I'm currently trying to fix problems with the website we paid this (shady as FUCK) company to do for JMC before they hired me. elementfusion.com - that's the company, jmcampbell.publishpath.com - that's the website. CSS and html validation? seems like they've never heard of it. even their OWN website doesn't validate!!! and if you inspect their portfolio you can find a few instances where the images they've put on clients HOME PAGES have imagestock watermarks on them. these people charge $125/hr. cough. and i have declared war on them. >:D
