This is kind of cool: Gov. Kulongoski lives for a week on a food stamp budget to raise awareness about the difficulty of feeding a family on food stamps. It'd be interesting to see how some of the more well-to-do folk in the world would do, if their luck took a turn for the worse, and they had to live like a lot of poor people do in this country.
You've heard the rumors, but now it's official: Kucinich introduced his resolution to impeach Dick Cheney! I have to admit that I'm skeptical as to whether it will go anywhere, but it certainly wouldn't hurt *my* feelings any, if it did.
After going to wushu last night, I discovered that I injured myself during the demo! Yeah, that's luck for you. :p It's nothing major--just my left hip flexor acting up a bit when I do certain things--but it's still kind of a downer. I had lots of time to work on compulsory staff, though. Whee!
People have been spotty about coming to practice since we got back from Berkeley, but word is getting around that I'm leaving. I got hugs yesterday from people who wouldn't be at practice on Friday. I don't know why, exactly, but I'm always kind of surprised when people hug me. I generally only get hugs from S.O.s and family, so I guess I've convinced myself that I'm not very huggable or something. ::shrug:: I have to admit that I'm kind of weird about my personal bubble, at times, so people probably pick up on that. I'm getting better, though.
Anyhoo, I've got a busy day ahead, so... ::poof!::
