Well, weekend was all right, until I started feeling all funny on Sunday night. With folks being out sick from work recently, and wushu kids missing practice because they're bedridden with flu, I should've guessed that being around all these sick people would catch up to me. ;p I took the day off from work yesterday to sleep it off, and that seemed to help a little.
Training on Saturday was pretty rough, but in that good way. The guy who came up coached the club before Phil did, I think, and he has since gotten a bunch of personal trainer certifications and really knows his stuff. It was interesting to get feedback from somebody who knows that much about athletic training. He verified some things that I already knew through my own readings, and told us some things that I didn't already know, so it was a lot of good info! I got pretty sore afterwards, too, so it'd be cool to make some gains from the program he showed us. Hopefully I'll be able to remember most of it. :)
Sunday was pretty relaxed. Dinner for
aleisha was good. I'd started feeling under-the-weather by that point, but it was nice to hang out and such anyway. Ben and I also did some test shooting and wound up investigating flash syncing issues. As usual, there was a wealth of information about Canon quirks, but nothing terribly relevant for Olympus. Baaah. After the credit cards are paid, I'm thinking I'll switch to Canon, or maybe Nikon, and sell my Olympus to defray the cost... it's a good camera, but the equipment selection is more expensive and more limited, and it seems like there's not much room to grow. Fortunately, my current camera holds its value really well, so I can probably sell it for about what I paid for it. ;)
Anyhoo, yesterday was a whole lot of knitting and sleeping. I'm back at work, but definitely dragging. Boo-urns.
