I'm so low-energy this week, and it sucks. But I still practiced wushu for about an hour, and then ran a couple miles yesterday. It's good that I didn't stop until the 2-mile mark, though, because the instant I slowed to a walk, my quads creaked and said, "oh, sorry, we're done now." I tried some suggestions that
dakania gave me to deal with the cramping problems, and it seemed to help somewhat, I think? I felt like I was running kind of slow, though, so it's hard telling. (I get worse cramping faster if I run at higher speeds)
I just had lunch with a couple former co-workers a couple hours ago! We ate sushi and did some catching up, and it might turn into a monthly sort of thing... it'd be nice if that worked out. :)
Anyhoo, tonight I go practice, and then I go meet with some people whom I'll be photographing at their committment ceremony. I'll be doing it by myself, since they said it was small and therefore only wanted one photographer... that was yesterday's panic issue. It was basically "I suck and will end up getting crappy pictures!" versus "I don't suck that bad and I won't get any better if I don't take this on." The latter side of my brain won out, obviously. :)
Tomorrow? Wushu workshops with another one of UO Wushu's distinguished and knowledgeable alumni, and then I don't know what. Sunday? Birthday shenanigans for
aleisha in the evening. Probably have to work on some photos at some point this weekend. My task list is a little nuts.
I want to sleeeeeeep. I hate being so tired. :p
