Well, after my previous complaint about coaching, I experienced the up side of coaching last night in a big way. My legs were crazy-tired and I didn't want to overdo it, so I thought, "okay, I'll focus on weapons and upper-body technique today." Which, yeah, I did, but I also got to teach people and help them out with various techniques and with questions they had. It makes you feel like you've accomplished something that day, even if you haven't trained super-hardcore yourself. :)

I totally won a debate yesterday. Or at least, *I'd* call it a win, heh. :D This is notable because:
A) I usually don't know enough about a given topic to make a really good argument
B) I usually don't care enough about the given question to go chasing after a win, partly due to point A
C) it was a debate with Ben, who's known to be pretty tenacious about debating things.

Needless to say, I was feeling like quite the smartypants after pulling that off yesterday. Granted, I did so with the help of Teh Internets--to confirm what I already thought--and I'm sure my efforts will be visited upon me threefold in some future argument, but I'll ride the wave of "Why YES! I am made of awesome!" for now, heehee.

I have people that I need to call up and get together with, but man, now is not seeming like the time. This is partly because I think a lot of them are busy with things like moving, working, taking time for themselves, and so forth. A lot of people are stressed out right now, and I'm like, jeez, it's bad enough trying to fit things around *my* schedule, so theirs must be even worse.

The other cause? I'm still feeling like doing the lazy hermit thing, which means that I'm too drained to deal with most people, at the moment. (note that I said "most," not "all") Of course, if said people come to me and are all, "yay let's go do fun things!" then I'm cool with that, because that means I don't have to plan things, and lazy hermits don't like planning things.

I think what I really need, however, is a night off to just do whatever I feel like... even though "whatever I feel like" may not turn out to be anything grandiose or exciting. :)

I am currently sorting songs into a Running playlist, when the randomizer brings one up that's good for running. I got a bunch of crappy ballads coming up on the randomizer on Tuesday, and that? Not exactly Power Music. I need to weed those out. ;p If you can think of a good running song, I'm open to suggestions.
