For the 2 people who don't know: Bruce Campbell is pimpin' it for Old Spice! (What? I hadn't seen the video until today ;p)

The weekend was cold. VERY cold. We walked to Flicks 'N' Pics on Saturday and rented some movies, so we were able to keep nice and toasty. This seemed to be a weekend for classic/must-see movies that I've never seen, so we had Taxi Driver, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, and Arachnophobia... well, maybe the "classic-but-unseen" assessment was only half-correct in the case of that last one. ;) The first was odd, the second was great fun, and the third was good for a laugh.

We went to the outer edges of town on Sunday to take pictures of the snow. (it wasn't quite so prettily-white in town, by that point) It was very cold, and there were slippery bits on the road that kept us from getting to any of the really nice, high scenic points, but it was still pretty good.

I made bruschetta and pasta last night for everyone at the Shack, because their new roommates (an engaged couple) suggested that somebody should use up the rest of their fresh basil before it went bad. It turned out pretty well, for a first attempt! And speaking of the new roommates, they're both super-nice and they seem to be cooking tasty stuff all the time, so I already like them. ;)

I'm still grumpy about my stupid computer, but eh, what can you do.

Saw the BC commercial a few weeks ago. Awesomeness. So rare that a (semi-)famous Oregonian gets a national commercial. :D

i'm one of the 2. that was awesome. i heart bruce campbell. a friend of mine met him in a bar in little rock once.. they talked for a while (my friend started the conversation with "wow, you look a lot like bruce campbell" and then later, after he said he was an actor was like "you ARE bruce campbell!"). i had jealousy.
