Apparently, this is a week for good quotes. Douglas Adams is responsible for the one above.
Well, the good news is, I am feeling at least quasi-motivated! The bad news is, uh, I may not have any time to act on said motivation. :p I have spare time here and there, sure, but it's smaller blocks of time, and I hate trying to start on something when I know I won't have time to finish it or at least get to a good stopping point. Tonight and tomorrow look busy, Friday night *might* be okay, Saturday and Sunday will likely be nuts. I have Monday off from work for MLK, so that may be my saving grace. Fingers crossed. ;p
My body seems to be staging a rebellion against me today. For some reason, my eyes are itching and I'm sneezing like crazy. It feels as though my allergies are flaring up. In the second week of January. WTF? Also, no matter how many times I put food into my stomach, it still complains that it's hungry. Maybe I need protein. Claritin and protein, yes.
Also, it is snowing right now! Yes, that's another WTF?
On a less complain-y note, David got some info on a nice cabin near the coast that is free (yes, free!) so a few of us will head out there next weekend. Apparently, it is also well-furnished and has a very serviceable kitchen, so I may have to make some nefarious plans for cooking magic.
We watched the MacWorld keynote last night, and that was damned spiffy. iPhone is even cooler than the still photos seemed to indicate. I am less than happy about the exclusive partnership with Cingular--not to mention the fact that the representative from Cingular was a snore-inducing speaker--but hopefully other wireless carriers will catch up before too terribly long.
Anyhoo, tonight I shoehorn in dinner and some miscellaneous tasks before practice, then go to practice, then possibly some racquetball, then blessed sleep. Maybe I'll fit some laundry in there, if I'm lucky.
