Scary? Maybe...
Oct. 26th, 2006 02:39 pmIt's been reeeeally cold these past few days, and my finger numbness problem has returned. Lucky me! I was hoping it'd be gone for a good while, but apparently not. Maybe the weather is more of a factor than I thought.
My Halloween costume should hopefully be landing on my doorstep just in time for some Halloween party fun on Saturday! I'm excited, even if we are cutting it close on the arrival time. If something terrible happens and it doesn't get here, then, erm, I guess I'll borrow someone's sewing machine and un-alter my costume from last year. (the top needed to be let out last year, but now it'd fit in its original configuration) I barely got to wear the thing at all last year, and it's nice to have a backup plan.
Either way, I'd still be able to wear the thing on Halloween day, so I'm happy. I'm kind of hoping to win the costume contest at the Job, but I'm not sure how much appreciation everyone has for semi-obscure video game characters, heh. If all else fails, I can threaten everyone with the point of my floppy wushu sword. ;)
Stuff at work is ok and all. I've been slogging through this new project, but I think I am starting to figure things out. Well, I hope that's the case, anyway. ;p
My parents are talking about coming up to Oregon for Thanksgiving, much to my surprise! It's rare that anyone in the family comes up this way, so that'll be nice if it works out. It certainly beats being by yourself on a family holiday. I do have a couple of options, though, in the event that my parents can't make it up here, so if you were going to start feeling sorry for me, don't. ;)
One of my work buddies commented the other day that he had a dream with me in it. Apparently, I was busting out some mad fighting skills and kicking everyone's butt, because he associates me with wushu, heh. If only that could be the reality... I'd probably get my ass beat if somebody really wanted to physically hurt me. ::rotfl::
My mood is definitely improving. I'm doing a decent job of squeezing in R&R where I can, and that's *really* good, because I'll basically be running around like crazy all day Saturday. Sanity is precious, y'all.
