This is kind of a funny observation: Want to get hit by a car while riding a bicycle? Wear a helmet!
I was a weak girly-man sissy and ran only 2 miles yesterday, but I did 1/4th of that on the balls of my feet to help with jump training, and that? Hurts like a mother. Not as bad as the 3x20 calf raises I did last week, but still, ouch. Getting mad wushu skills is painful, y'all. People only want to date people who have great skills, though, and I don't know from bowhunting or nunchucks, so this would seem to be my only ticket. ;)
I got a phone call earlier from a guy I used to freelance for, and he's going to pay me for an hour or two of teaching him webstuff this evening. Not tons, or anything, but every little bit helps. I'm also theoretically getting a gift card for Best Buy, because of my mad logo-making skills. Right now, I'm thinking that I'll get a Compact Flash card, but I'm sure I'll walk in there, see all the electronics and DVDs and miscellaneous things, and totally nerd out over everything.
Oh, gosh, and Ben showed me this earlier, and I about wet myself: the new iPod Shuffle! Every time I think Apple can't possibly make a thing smaller and cuter, they go and do exactly that. It's SO WEE! And so cheap... well, comparatively speaking, anyway.
Finally, this may be the Best. Shirt. EVER: The #1 Threat to America...
