So, last night, among other things, I was resizing some pictures I took at the company picnic, and my friggin' 300GB SATA drive started freaking out on me... I'm not sure what's wrong, but considering the fact that I've had that drive for less than a year, I'm going to be *pissed* if it's dying on me already. :p Do those things generally come with some sort of warranty? I'd think so, but I'm never sure...
At any rate, here's what I managed to put up last night, in spite of the problems: company picnic!
In other news, a new roommate (Mitch) moved in recently! Haven't seen him around the house much, yet, but that's probably because I haven't *been* around the house much, except for when I'm staring at the glowing square and working on things, heh. :)
In the continuing broken bike saga, after putting my newly-fixed back tire on my bike on Saturday night, I discovered that the front tire was flat from sitting around unused for so long. I flailed around and got cheesed off for a bit, and then gave up and left Mitch a note asking if he had a bike pump... only to find out later from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
evil_violet that there was one sitting in the garage the whole time, and I'd completely missed it. (granted, I was attempting to do all of this well after dark, but still, rrrgh)
Anyhoo, I pumped up my front tire this morning and the bike seems to be happy again. One of the teeth on the largest front gear got bent somehow, but I can still at least ride the bloody thing, so I took it to work today. Going up the hill at the end of the day is going to be a beast, but I could use the exercise. I hope to bike to work at least a couple of times a week, because getting my flabby butt in gear is good, and saving money on gas is even better.
I stayed up too late last night working on things. I am trying to install a web forum on someone else's webhost, but I am thwarted at every turn! Sleeeeepy.
