bein' lazy
Jul. 28th, 2006 12:54 pmOh jeez: House Passes Ban on Social Site Access.
I ran four miles yesterday. FOUR MILES. I still don't know how I managed to slog through it, and I kind of let myself off the hook a bit by not doing the lower-body part of my weight training afterwards, but FOUR MILES! I was seriously thinking about crapping out after the first two, but I ran all four, in spite of the god-awful muggy and hot air floating around the indoor track. I don't know if I'll ever do it again, but I did it once, by jooky!
I ran into Nick just after finishing the run, too, and I was hilariously brain-dead exhausted during that chit-chat. Forming complete sentences should never be that difficult.
I also hit up 80's Night with workpeople, but I think I killed my legs with the running, because I only had about an hour's worth of dancing in me, so I wound up turning in early. Damn these human legs.
Tonight, we apparently are attempting to clean out the apartment, hardcore. Argh, there's so much crap in there that I really don't need, and a good bit that I really don't want, and I don't know how the hell we're going to deal with that. It's so idiotic to go through my stuff and find things that I haven't used or even thought about for a year, and still be struck by the compulsion to hang onto it just a little while longer, especially when I know that I don't have space for it.
Speaking of, I cleaned out the ol' closet again, and I have a big bag of clothes that I can't wear and/or don't want anymore. I'm not sure what sizes you local types wear, but most of the clothes are in the realm of XL, so let me know if you want to pick through the Bag Of Doom! I'm too lazy to set prices, so you can just make me an offer if you find something you want.
Weekend's going to be nuts. I have to be in Portland by 9am tomorrow, and I'll be there all weekend. I kind of don't want to go, because I'm feeling like being a lazy bastard, and I'm also loaded up on antihistamines in the hopes that it'll make these bug bites to go away faster... so, yeah, I feel tired.
I have some photo shoots lined up for while I'm there, though, so at least there's that to look forward to! I'll hopefully get to photograph a model or two, as well, which I'm excited about. I'm so hungry for new photography subjects that I was playing with the idea of doing self portraits, but the self-timer wouldn't cooperate. ::rotfl:: I'm still feeling pretty damned lazy, though.
Oh yeah, and I'm gonna hit up the Information Society Reunion Show! (
alfonzobean, be on the lookout for me and my crazy asymmetrical 'do! :D)
Anyway, I've got quasi-important things to do, so I'm off like a dirty shirt.
