Born To Run (well, not exactly)
May. 10th, 2006 04:39 pmI put up a bunch more picture edits late Monday night and forgot to mention it. So yeah, they're there!
So I somehow decided several years ago that I really, really hate running. I think it was mainly because I sucked at it, and also because I was faaaat. A while before that, though, I used to like running. I'd go running at midnight around campus when I felt restless at night, and it was actually, y'know, fun. After finding out about that Challenge Mile Race, I decided to strap on my running shoes yesterday after work, and give it a go.
The last time I tried running, which was probably 2 or 3 years ago--definitely before I came to wushu--I ran for maybe 5 minutes, and then had to stop and walk the rest. Everything hurt, especially my lungs, and I regretted it for days afterwards.
Yesterday? I ran 3.5 miles without stopping. Maybe there's hope for me yet. :)
Now, it's a link bonanza, because people on Teh Internets have too much time on their hands!

dakania, this one's for you! The Internet Is For Porn, with help from WoW.
--This is worth it just for the gnome backup singers (and the song's actually not too bad either): Big Blue Dress
--Programmer and tech types need to hear this one: Code Monkey!
Tonight = working late, then wushu, then photoshoot. My eyes hurt and my brain's kind of dead. That's all!
