This just in: 2005 can officially blow me.
I'd make a list of all the horribly depressing and awful things that have happened this year, but that would just be, well, depressing.
Take cover, December 31st, cos here I come!
-------------------
Taiji was fun last night; the lady who's taking us through that Xingyi form came in and took us through the rest of it. :) I am far from having it memorized, but hopefully I can nail it down in my brain the next time she's in.
I busted out some blueberry cobbler last night! It turned out pretty okay, and people at the potluck today seemed to like it. I'm thinking of some modifications to make for the next time, though.
SURVIVOR BABBLE :O Alas, my poor Bobby Jon. You could just tell that Gary was going to pull out the hidden immunity idol when Probst asked, and then there was the *DRAMATIC PREGNANT PAUSE OF DOOOOOOM* I knew BJ was boned the moment they lingered on the question for even one extra second. Gaaah!!
Well, at least he made the jury, and at least he *tried* to get some folks in the Axis of Evil (™Rafe, hee) to flip alliances. Also, BJ may not be as dumb as we've previously thought, after all: he seems to be the first person to notice and point out that Steph has a lot of power, and needs to get booted. Big ups to him for trying to go after her!
It seems like not very much has changed, as far as my feelings towards people. Cindy and Danni are still rather bland, Gary's kind of awesome, Jamie's still a dickwad, Judd's still a moron, Lydia's still cute as a button, Rafe is still great fun to watch, and Steph is still Princess Entitlement.
I hope to god that Lydia, Rafe, and Cindy are much smarter than we're being shown, and are actually planning to join Gary and Danni next week. It would be the smartest thing *ever*, because not only could they pick off S/J/J, but they'd also outnumber Gary and Danni after the 3 Jackass Amigos are gone.
Of course, nobody ever seems to make the smart choice on this show, so I shouldn't get my hopes up. ;p
Weekend should be cool. Party on Saturday in all likelihood. Might brave the Black Forest for karaoke on Sunday, although I don't know if I'll actually sing. I've been spoiled by Japanese-style private room karaoke and the lack of stage fright that comes with it, and I've never done karaoke in a bar setting before. It's a lot easier to yowl like a jackass when it's only in front of your equally skilled and/or inept friends. :)
Oh, yeah, I'll probably have to work for a bit this weekend, after being out sick on Monday. That's a big ol' BLEH. But I'll deal.
That's all!

Date: 2005-11-11 10:53 pm (UTC)I like the same people you do. I can't stop staring at Danni, because her skinniness is genuinely frightening. I keep expecting her to keel over and die of starvation at any second.
