batskeetsOh, crappers. So I noticed, upon arriving this morning, that I left my work IM on all weekend. LMAO! Don't worry, I didn't spend my whole weekend at my workstation. :)
So, weekend: I biked out to the mall and saw the eye doctor, who is going to fix my eyeballs with some new glasses!! The stupid part, of course, is that the damned things aren't ready yet. Yeah, "glasses in an hour, in most cases," they say, but, apparently, I am not included in, "most cases." Sigh. I hope they're ready soon, because I can NOT deal with these headaches for another week.
On the plus side, I had a few extra minutes before the appointment, so I finally bought myself a bike helmet. It makes my head look gigantosaur, but at least I won't get a massive head wound and die if my bike should suddenly flip. My head is already pretty gigantosaur anyway, even sans helmet. ;p
Otherwise, outside of cleaning house, I spent a lot of my weekend on WoW--my headaches from staring at code all week really drained out all my energy. But, on the plus side, Fiz is now 47, and Winkle is 28.
I am going to be super-mega-ultra broke for the next couple of weeks, because an extra-large cable bill--chock-full of extra fees from the move, thank you rat bastards at Comcast--is coming down the pipe, and also because we are finally going to go get a real bed. We'll get by, of course, but it'll kind of suck.
