Blargh, I can't seem to hang onto a hair stylist. :p I tried to get an appointment with Not!Alicia today, and not only is she not working at the salon anymore, but she may not even be doing hair at all anymore! Seems like whenever I find stylists I like, I only get to go to them 2 or 3 times, and then something insane happens and they fall off the planet. SIGH.

Anyway, I have an appointment with a new person late this afternoon, so hopefully she won't be nuts and do horrible things to my head. Well, I can't say that I've ever had an out-and-out Bad Haircut before, so it'll probably come out fine at worst, or utterly fabulous, at best. But, one never knows.

I've spent the past few evenings narrowing down travel plans. Right now, I'm thinking the second weekend in September. I'm also thinking I may fly into San Franny or San Jose, and drive the rest of the way to Mom and Dad's, because it would save me $40-80 and possibly get me there up to 45 minutes earlier. Flying into the closest airport to their house totally drives up the price and the travel time, and they fly you a good 200 miles out of your way in order to get a connecting flight to the smaller airport. Poo on that, says me.

This will be the first airline flight I've ever booked for myself. Is that weird? Does it mean that I'm a Big Girl now? LOL!

Yesterday in short: dinner with the posse plus aleisha, some biffing around on WoW. My gnome army is now complete, as I have started a gnome mage, Clearbottom. Ph33r the lv. 4 fiery wrath! Hee. :D

I need food with the quickness.

If you decided to fly through SF would it be possible to convince you to do so 1-2 weeks earlier so we're not in Japan? ^^

Ooo, if it doesn't hike up the airfare a whole ton, I could probably swing it! I basically am looking at latter half of August/first half of September as my viable travel time period.

When exactly would be workable for y'all? I was thinking about taking an extra day (it's somehow cheaper to do Thurs-Mon than Fri-Mon O_o;), so we could totally biff around San Franny for the day. :D

Also note that, being a girl, style is completely subjective. Enough chutzpah can turn any fashion disaster into the next hot trend. Embrace terrible haircuts! Pretend they make you better than everyone else for getting them first!

(Not like guys, who 90% of the time all look exactly the same. It's because we're regarded as interchangable and purely utilitarian, like Russian farm equipment.)

We still haven't decided exact dates or bought tickets yet (need to do that soon =P), but will probably be leaving in the first week or so of September. The absolute latest would be the 11th (>_>), though I'm kinda leaning toward earlier since I needs to find me a place to live and all ^^ So I'd say end of august first coupld days of September'd be best for us..

Don't worry too much about changing plans to accommodate us, though. It'd be great to see you, but I don't want you to rearrange your life and pay extra for it or anything ^^
