Woooo. Gettin' tired.

I neglected to mention this previously, but I also finished watching the CSI finale over the weekend, and let me say that if you didn't watch it, you NEED to go download it, or *something*, because it was that freakin' amazing. That was the best two hours of television I've seen in a long time; I can't remember the last time a TV show put me on the edge of my seat like that. Also, George Eads acted the *hell* out of this episode. Really, the whole cast put in solid performances, but GE deserves at least an Emmy nomination for this ep. If he ever has to settle for doing another ABC Family movie after this, I will cry for him and his wasted talent.

Also, if you like Quentin Tarantino, he directed this episode, and I think he was involved in some of the writing, too, (and no, he does *not* appear on screen) so now you have another reason to watch it. :) And even if you *don't* like Quentin Tarantino, there is some great characterization and continuity throughout for fans of the show. It's clear that QT is a fan of the show and gave the script some well-deserved attention.

Called the power company this morning, and we are now one step closer to being moved into the happy new place! Next up: calling Comcast about the intarweb stupf. Yes, internet ranks above telephone. Priorities, people, priorities!

Wushu was great yesterday. We actually (finally!) got to work on the jump outside/lotus kick. I am significantly less horrible at it than I was the last time we did them, yay! I'm pretty jazzed for hitting the weight room today, and I am super-amped about visiting my soon-to-be-new Taiji school, which will probably happen early next week.

On the down side: I did a bunch of dishes on Sunday, and my dishwashing gloves broke previously, so I did the dishes barehand, and my hands are dried up again. And, exceedingly dry hands + drilling front slaps and jump front slaps = bleeding knuckles and paaaaiiin. :p So not cool.

That's all!

There have been a few veiled (or not so veiled) comments about Grissom's gender preference this season... in "Big Middle" (I think that's the name of it) where the girl was like "Fat chick, gay guy - it's been known to happen" or something, and then in the season finale with the dad making a big deal about "Oh, 'your guys'." Oh, and that comment Greg made about his dream with Grissom watching him and Sara (also Big Middle - if you haven't seen it, I still have it TiVo-ed). I wonder if they're actually trying to say something or if it's just a coinkidink? And we all know that Grissom is the most tolerant human being on the face of the planet when it comes to "alternate lifestyles", so does his not responding actually mean anything?

Sorry, I needed to vent to another CSI fan. :D Yes, the finale was fantastic! I have totally grown to love Nick this season, and considering I didn't particularly like him through about season three, that is way cool.
