I think the wushu fire is back, y'all. I was burnt out on it x 10000 yen around Thursday or Friday, which definitely played a role in the whole OMFGMustPigOutAndShopNeedlessly thing. But, I think that feeling is gone now, because I was in oddly good spirits at practice yesterday. Phew.
I hope to get out of work early enough to go to that cycling class again, too. Bruised buttocks be damned, that class was a darned good workout.
My reading mentoring dealie is going pretty well, now. We've gotten through all the school-provided info, so now I have some more control over how we spend the session. I have a few ideas that I am actually getting to roll out. She doesn't seem to retain things very well over time, and I still kind of wonder at times how much she really wants to be doing this stuff--I get the impression that she feels like there are better things she could be doing than sticking her nose in a book--but I think a lot of that might just be shyness.
I went and got new headphones to use at work! The cord was too short on the set that came with my Discman, so I got a set with a 5-meter long cord. They actually handle bass better than the old ones--not that that's saying much--so I am pretty happy.
Oh, and go fill out the music poll, if'n you haven't already. :D
