I woke up in a pretty bad effing mood today. Blargh. Ever had one of those days where you just feel horrible about yourself? Well, today is that sort of day for yours truly. I feel like running away somewhere, and quitting wushu, and quitting weight training, and eating a lot of decadent food, and bumming around town relaxing. I'm not even sure why, because nothing is going particularly badly at the moment.
But, apparently, it was nothing that a plate of nachos couldn't cure! Well, mostly. I am still cranky, but the day is 3/4ths over, so I can hang a bit longer. I've talked myself back into going lifting today, too, albeit grudgingly. Maybe I would be feeling even better if I had gotten some really good nachos, instead of cheapo Taco Bell ones. Taco Bell gave me a spork, though. Sporks = awesome. <3
Oh yeah, the whole Learning Chinese While In The Car thing is going along nicely. It's pretty basic stuff, so far, but I'm only on Unit 3. Also, it's useful basics, like being able to ask people if they can speak English, and telling them you know a little bit of Chinese. If I am ever stuck in the middle of China, I will be very happy to have the ability to ask people if they know English. ;p I think I'll probably buy a book or three to help expand the vocab, but it *is* a pretty good CD.
The specter of working over the weekend looms above me. Guh, not exactly wild about that. But, hey, dolla' bills, y'all.
Computer problems remain unchanged. I hope nobody's trying to e-mail me anything important. If you must e-mail, hit me up at Yahoo!, okay?
That's all. Go away, grumpiness!
