Well, my weekend didn't turn out entirely as I expected, but no biggie. I still had some good times, and got some much-needed rest.
The RP on Saturday got cancelled, unfortunately, and I didn't find out until I'd already dragged myself out of bed early on Saturday, expecting to start at 10am. I managed to go back to sleep anyway, though. :)
Extra wushu practice kicked my butt. I'm still kind of freaked about having to be ready six days from now. Also, judging from the turnout for this tournament in previous years, my division may end up being combined with the Advanced division, because so few girls actually compete in Nanquan, even at Intermediate level. GAH. I just have to hope that at least one other person registers in my division; otherwise, it's Goodbye, Sweet Medal. I could do well among people at my level, but no way can I take on the Advanced folk. Kee-rist.
A little after I got back, an impromptu poker night was in full effect. Of course, people started hopping on WoW once they were knocked out of the poker game, but it was interesting to observe for a while, at least. :) I also got to watch more of Six Feet Under, which I still love. I think I'm becoming more of a homebody, as of late. Not sure why.
WoW dorkitude: I'm lagging behind on levels at the moment, because as of Saturday night, I hadn't played in a week or so. I'm totally never going to catch up. ;ppp I also had the unfortunate luck of needing to go to Ironforge right around the time when a massive raid on Stormwind/the Tram/Ironforge occurred--"10+ lvl 60 Horde", according to the chatter. So, about halfway between Loch Modan and IF, I got the LAG OF THE CENTURY. x_x I was in the middle of mining when it happened, so I got impatient and walked away, but instead of running, my little gnome would just glide along the ground in a crouched position. Stupid Horde. :p
Gnomes are THE BEST, y'all. I love their funky hair, their weird chibi-person proportions, the dorky gnome dance they do when you type "/dance". I want to make an army of cute gnome characters with color-coordinated outfits. God, my love of gnomes is so random and insane.
Anyway, build's done, so I'm off.

Date: 2005-02-22 11:21 am (UTC)What's even more retarded is when some wank horde group decides to raid a place like, oh, Sentinel Hill. It's one of the most weakly-defended areas! If they're going to muck up server traffic for everyone else, they could at least do something challenging. :p
