EDIT: This is pretty funny: MSN's MapPoint service displays an unusually long route between two Norwegian cities. Gooo Microsoft! ::laughs::

So, on Friday, [livejournal.com profile] rantar, James, and myself had plans to see a movie, but we wound up bumping it back to a later show than I'd originally thought, because James had worked all night on Thursday and was still groggy and tired when I finished wushu at 7p. I was feeling ambivalent, so they chose Elektra--surprisingly, it was actually not a bad movie. Jennifer Garner made it work, because A) she *definitely* works out, and B) she can actually act. If they'd put the wrong person in the role, it could have been astoundingly bad, but JG does inner turmoil pretty well.

Oh yeah, and one of the villains was BOB SAPP!! XD I have video of that guy hanging out with SMAP and crushing watermelons with his head! (courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] pyrobaby) He really didn't do a lot in the movie, other than standing around being large and threatening, but I still flipped out when I realized who it was. ::rotfl::

Yesterday was fun times all around! [livejournal.com profile] junsiew and I went out for what is becoming our monthly tea time. I also picked up enough tea to last me a good month or so--I love the fact that you can get so many cups' worth of tea for less than $5. Definitely an economic improvement on $3+ for a single mocha.

After I got back, the lot of us went to dinner at the Roadhouse Grill, and received the Worst. Service. EVER. Our waitress took probably 20 minutes to even come over and take our dinner order. She didn't bring us any plates for the bread, so we had to ask for them. They ran out of the prime rib that [livejournal.com profile] dellswor wanted. We had to keep asking for soda and water refills. *And* she literally dropped a hot piece of bread on my back and pretty much startled the living bejeezus out of me. ^^; Everything was S-L-O-W, and we just felt utterly neglected. There were other groups of the same size that came in *after* us, and had already paid the check by the time we were just receiving our dinner. WTF, lady?

However, the food was pretty good, and the waitress was, at least, fairly nice. Definitely not as bad as the crabby old lady at IHOP. So, yeah, I guess not the absolute worst I've ever had, but it was pretty bad.

I forget where I found this survey, and some of the questions are kind of stupid ("ran away from home"? What am I, in 2nd grade??) but if'n you're bored, fill it out:
