My training appointment yesterday was pretty good. It feels like it's getting easier, and my trainer is happy with my progress. Yay! Wushu has been going well. I'm worried about winter break, though, what with the lack of practices and all. I'm thinking about buying an instructional tape to play with for the rest of the month. I am going to fatten up and get bored if I don't have something new that I can at least attempt to learn.
News flash from the news media: Julia Roberts had twins! News flash from me, to the news media: I! DON'T! CARE! Give me some *real* news, jerkwads.
SURVIVOR BABBLING TAIMU! I am vaguely embarrassed to admit it, but my Eliza hate is gone. WTF? In early episodes, she was this yappy little poodle that wouldn't shut up and acted all entitled and was completely unaware of how irritating she was.
However, they must have really changed the editing, because NOW she actually seems fairly nice, is at least somewhat aware of her faults, and appears to have something of a brain. People in all alliances have been backstabbing her without a second thought, and in some cases have been just treating her like utter shit, SCOUT, but she's remaining vigilant, grabbing onto this game by the teeth and not letting go.
I think that with Ami gone, I'll be boarding the Eliza Love Train. Why?
Chris: Thinks he's far more clever than he actually is. Personality grates on my nerves. Screamed like an asshole at his poor fiancee who was only doing her best to help him win the family challenge. Had the dumbest early-game strategy ever and completely hosed the men's team. However, if I were there watching the girls tear each other apart, I'd be sitting back and laughing my ass off just like he is, so that's one point in his favor. ONE.
Julie: Has a shifty-eyed way about her. Is Princess Blandy of Blandonia, personality-wise. Large part of strategy is based on flirting with anything that moves, even if it's married. Is also Flying Under The Radar, and FUTR strategy is for sissies. Is way too fond of baring her ass to the cameras. Eeeew.
Scout: FREAKING USELESS. Especially in challenges. Tries to put forth loving, hippie granola, earth mother image, when she is pretty much a catty bitch, beneath it all. Has been on crazy vendetta against Eliza since Day 2, to the point of being willing to fling alliances and strategy to the four winds. If she somehow wins this thing, I will throw myself off a bridge.
Twila: Remarkably crabby, and sometimes unfairly bitchy when it comes to younger, "girly" girls. Also starting to act as smug and "high and mighty" as she accused Ami of being, now that she's in power. She brings good snark, though, calls people on their B.S., and is making a pretty respectable effort at good strategy.
If Eliza goes away, I'll probably be on board with Twila, which is interesting, seeing as the two of them apparently have a shouting match of epic proportions next week. I don't hold out much hope for Eliza winning, really, especially seeing as she won the car, because we all know that the one who wins the car loses the million.
Also, GOOD GOD, I hope Eliza is eating like a horse now. Because that shot of her shoulder blades? TERRIFYING.
Weekend is looking good. Might go to a Halo 2 party tonight. I should be RPing tomorrow, and going to a birthday party after that. Apparently, people like to mate like bunnies during February and March, because I know *way* too many people with November/December birthdays.
Mostly, I just hope to sleep like the dead this weekend. I *still* haven't gotten any good sleep this week.
Anyway, I'm too tired to think of anything else right now. BYEBYE :O
