I would just like to express how much I don't want to go to work tomorrow. Even after a four-day weekend (well, minus some worktime to make up for the days off), I am still burnt out. I assumed that this sort of feeling would pass once I landed myself an enjoyable job, but you know what? I currently have the enjoyable job, and I *still* don't want to go to work. BLAAAHHHHH.

Maybe I should get one of those full-spectrum light bulbs. I always feel extra-lazy in the winter, I earned lower grades in Winter Term than in Fall or Spring while I was in school, and I kind of miss the sun. Having a day job got me all accustomed to actually seeing the day star on a regular basis.

I saw Alexander yesterday. Yes, the reviews are pretty much correct: this movie were trying for epic, but they kind of missed the mark. By a lot. ::laughs::

I will award them a bonus point or three for the mushy lover's dialogue between Colin Farrell and Jared Leto, though. That's about as explicit as I've ever seen big-screen Hollywood do a gay relationship, and it was a nice nod to the actual history--the industry seems to like glossing over anything non-hetero in history, *especially* when it's in relation to a heroic lead character. I think the HoYay! was the only part of this movie to earn a wholehearted thumbs-up from me. Otherwise, meh.

Anyway, I should go do some dishes.

I'm the boss, and I never want to go either. If you put in an order for a full-spectrum lamp, it'd get so approved. I've got one on the way for myself, after all :)

I had one for a while. Claims of longer life were a FILTHY LIE, it burned out as fast as any other bulb. Also, because some frequencies are getting sucked away by the magic frequency-sucking inner coating, they don't put out as much light as you would expect from their wattage.

The light was kind of nice, though. Not really like sunlight, but vaguely so.. better than standard incandescent, anyway.
