Well, I would be remiss in my recapping duties if I didn't mention the crazy-awesome power of MICHAEL JACKSON HALLOWEEN. I almost flaked out because A) I was feeling lazy, and B) putting all that greasy, nasty zombie makeup on again didn't sound too thrilling. But, I went anyway, and it was completely excellent.

I got to Phil-and-Josh's around 10:30 looking very Dead Housewife, and we put the finishing touches on our costumes and hair. We did a couple warmups, and then we hit the streets looking for big parties where we could do the Thriller dance. We found a party up the street where some kids were milling around outside, so we put on a performance for them, and they were hooting and hollering beyond my expectations.

We ended up walking to the Riley halloween dance, and hit more random parties around campus, and it was an absolute trip to see how people just ate it up! We'd approach a random party, and I could initially see some of the partygoers looking at us as if they were thinking, "what's with this bunch of bozos?" BUT, each time, we'd just cue up the boombox and start dancing, and the onlookers would suddenly start screaming and cheering, and telling us how awesome we were.

Anyway, here are some pictures that David took. I'm not in any of the daytime ones, because that happened on Friday while I was at the office potluck, but I was there for the nighttime photos. Also: our random appearances even got mentioned on an LJ community, thus cementing my status as an online celebrity. <3 to ALL MY FANS. (::cough::all2ofyou::cough::). LMAO! :)

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] bookid's birthday on Friday was fun, too. We went in a big group to the Olive Garden and stuffed ourselves silly, and then came back for hanging out and present-opening. [livejournal.com profile] rantar baked her a giant Happy Birthday cookie with some coaching from James. And she got Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 as one of her gifts!! I don't how *how* that game got released without my knowing about it! She and I stayed up and tried it out after the others bailed out for the night, and it has some pretty excellent songs that I'm looking forward to trying out when we have more time.

I didn't wind up going to [livejournal.com profile] skamp's on Sunday, mostly because I was out past 4am on Saturday night, thanks to all the Thriller-ing and a trip to Shari's afterward. So, I slept really late. ^^; Instead, I did some work and I played around with Sims 2.

OH, and if you have been watching Lost on ABC, raise your hand if you love the Koreans! They're probably my favorites on the show as of now, and this past week's episode was so excellent. I LOVE THE KOREANS. <3 <3 <3

Also, raise your hand if you are doing Nano2004! I am going forward with it, even though my novel concept is still incredibly foggy. I think my performance this week will determine if I go through with it for the whole month or not.

Anyway, I have work to be doing, and the network connection was being pretty flaky earlier today, so I should get back on it.
