Preliminary Announcement: My domain server is still being a punk, so I can't get my e-mail. If you need to reach me, hit me up at batskeets@yahoo.com, instead.

I'm feeling (and probably looking) pretty thrashed today. I don't regularly party it up, but every so often, it seems that I feel compelled to overcompensate and cram a bunch of party-like activity into one weekend. And, I usually end up regretting it come Monday.

Don't get me wrong, though, because my weekend was pretty smokin' awesome. Just, man, my head hurts, and I'm having a hard time typing this, because I keep flipping letters around. And my voice gets raspy, off and on.

Friday turned out lovely--I didn't have to work super-late; I just had to take a bit of extra time to pack up my desk in preparation for the move. We did some RPing, and sat around relaxing.

I had to do some cleaning on Saturday, and I sat down and started to watch the first disc of Six Feet Under (yes, [livejournal.com profile] designer_fetus, I actually *did* put it on my list ;p), but I only got about 20 minutes in before A) my parents called, and B) [livejournal.com profile] numfar and [livejournal.com profile] craftyran came by with a plan to go out and have Mudslides. I'm a sucker for drinks containing Kahlua, so we grabbed [livejournal.com profile] bookid and rolled on out to Red Robin. I got fairly toasted for the first time in a while, and we also had an amusingly giggly Ran on our hands by the end of the evening. [livejournal.com profile] polysciguy was playing designated driver, but he did get to walk up to the bar with a bevy of luscious ladies, so it couldn't have been all bad. :) Also: Black Opals are hella tasty.

Sunday was also great fun. I got to [livejournal.com profile] shannidee's sometime around 4 or 5p, and the party was already rolling. It was good to actually *see* Dave, what with the military flinging him off to random parts of the country all the time! :) There was a good bit of goofing around and mischief making, and of course, things only went even more downhill when the Santoros descended upon the house. ^_- Throw in a lightly toasted (and by toasted, I mean drunk) Emily, and things wound up pretty silly. We shot some pool, and played a board game that was basically designed to make an ass out of everyone playing it, and just lounged around enjoying the atmosphere. I didn't start driving back until 2:30am, which was probably a mistake on my part, but James was slaving away at the office until 4:30a, so I probably wouldn't have gotten much sleep anyway, even if I *had* been home. (yes, I'm a worrywart, shut up ;p)

And, we're back at Monday, where I'm at the office, trying to concentrate and doing pretty well considering my current state. I've been moved to the other building, now, and my desk is basically in the middle of the room, and there's a holy assload of glare on my screen. But, on the plus side, the space *is* a lot more pleasant, and being on the 5th floor offers a very pretty view of downtown.

And on that note, I think I'm going to run away now, because I have to meet my trainer at 6.
