no time for quotes!
Sep. 7th, 2004 02:01 pmFor the nerds in the audience (oh, wait, that's pretty much everyone ;p), here's a good article on the future of Star Trek.
I'm not really in favor of a Trek hiatus, because I *know* that the main reason why I don't keep up as well with more recent incarnations of Trek is because I don't like the path they've chosen as much. (well, that and the seemingly constant schedule changes for DS9) But if I had to endure a hiatus in order to get back to the Trek values of yore, then I'd certainly do it.
Baaahhhh, I keep thinking it's Monday when it's actually Tuesday. I just now went to read my Monday webcomics, and realized I'd already read them. I guess I'll be pleasantly surprised when Friday gets here, huh? ;p
Anyhoo, I did some shopping yesterday, which seems oddly new and interesting, even though it isn't. I suppose it only seems new because I did it with money that A) wasn't credit, and B) didn't come from my parents. Making enough of my own money for these things is weird, but so, so good. And jeebus, women's undergarments are way too expensive. :p
Also, my trainer totally kicked my ass yesterday, which was wonderful, because I needed it. I've been so lazy the past week or two, barely doing the minimum.
Summer disappeared so quickly, it seems... the wee ones are going back to school. The older ones, in a few weeks. And me? Not at all! I think I like that, at least for the moment. It's still odd, though. You'd think I'd be past this by now.
Lunch time is over! So I'm off.
