posting with the quickness
Jun. 12th, 2004 05:58 pmFinally, a small break in the festivities.
Yesterday I ran errands pretty much non-stop until 9p or so. I did pick up a cute sleeveless blouse, though, so I will not look like a bum or high-powered businesswoman at the wedding. :) And I won't roast alive if it's a sunny day, either. I spent the rest of my day cleaning and working, aside from a couple hours when Alicia and Nick were here and put on Reality Bites. But even then, I was still kind of working--it never stops. ;p
Graduation stupf has been okay so far--although hearing a psychology student devote part of his ceremony speech to the difficulties of a statistics course had us snickering a bit. (and that's weenie statistics *without* calculus, mind you)
And, I'm off to do more graduation-related things in a few minutes, here. It seems rather silly that I'm made more busy by other people's graduations than I ever was by my own! :)
I'll definitely happy when all of these parents get out of town, and traffic isn't so completely beastly. And that's not to mention the herds of family members that just meander across the street like bewildered, jaywalking sheep. Not *everyone's* life centers around the Uni, and some folks do have places to be, damnit.
But, I complain too much. ::poof::
